Sažetak

Полазећи од новонасталих арена унутар (примењене) антропологије и заснован на текућим етнографским теренским радом заједно са ратним ветеранима у југоисточној Европи, овај рад прати индикације да су ветерани и борачке организације потенцијални покретачи/одржаваоци отпорности на насилни екстремизам у друштвима. Ова позиција се заснива на препознавању да ветерани оличавају јединствену способност отпорности; капацитет створен преживљавањем у борби и продубљен док се ветерани сусрећу са животним борбама након службе. Истраживање овог приједлога борачког доприноса и сарадње сугерира да је потребна (ре)теоретизација бораца у друштву. У служби ове (ре)теоризације уводе се концепти „ветераности“ и „критичке ветеранства“ да би означили и ангажовали друштвену онтологију која представља динамику борачког животног света. У закључку, тврди се да ће (ре)теоризација, етнографске методологије и антрополошки ангажман водити како се друштвено-политичке стратегије за борбу против екстремизма могу отворити искуствима ветерана са отпорношћу.
