Psihološka istraživanja is a journal that covers socially relevant topics from different areas of psychology and supports culturally and socially sensitive psychology. Most of all, it relates to the studying of the themes and problems which are relevant for the specific culture and society, by using valid and reliable scientific methods and techniques. The journal is focused on the articles dealing with the important phenomena that surround us, using psychological concepts and methodology. The journal supports the development of psychology as a culturally sensitive, critical, and socially engaged science, as well as the social involvement of psychologists. In line with that, one of the journal’s missions is to support the publication of research that could serve as a source of information and recommendations for the creation of society’s developmental documents, strategies, and policies in various domains of social life, grounded in the data collected in scientific research. One of the journal’s missions is also the enhancement of communication among the members of the scientific community through openness for scientific debates and critical reviews of the important publications in the field of psychology. The journal also welcomes contributions from the related scientific disciplines, i.e. from scholars who study psychologically relevant topics in other social sciences.
The journal Psihološka istrazivanja publishes the following types of articles: original scientific papers, review papers, scientific critiques, debates, and comments. The journal also publishes professional articles, informative contributions, and reviews.

PSIHOLOŠKA ISTRAŽIVANJA Special Issue: The COVID-19 pandemic through the lens of education
It is our great pleasure to inform you that the special issue of the journal Psihološka istraživanja: The COVID-19 Pandemic through the Lens of Education has been published.
The special issue provides insights into reactions to the COVID-19 pandemic at all educational levels, of both education policy and practice, by different educational stakeholders, in different national contexts. Articles comprising this special issue strongly advocate for the importance of psychological processes while transitioning from pre-pandemic to pandemic reality, including topics such as wellbeing, stress, anxiety, depression, concerns, self-efficacy, experiences, social roles, self-regulation, etc. The special issue is thus a strong argument for the role psychology has in understanding the development and learning in the current situation, designing constructive responses, and re-thinking the future of education.

PSIHOLOŠKA ISTRAŽIVANJA in 2021. in category M24
Zadovoljstvo nam je da Vas obavestimo da je časopis Psihološka istraživanja u nedavnoj evaluaciji Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja prema Pravilniku o kategorizaciji i rangiranju naučnih časopisa unapređen u kategoriju nacionalnih časopisa međunarodnog značaja (M24). Svi naučni radovi objavljeni od početka 2021. godine biće do daljeg vrednovani prema novom rangu.
Uredništvo Psiholoških istraživanja nastaviće da objavljuje istraživanja o društveno relevantnim psihološkim temama i svoj profil sve više oblikuje prema kulturno i društveno osetljivoj psihologiji. Uložićemo dodatne napore u regionalnu i međunarodnu razmenu, što je u zajedničkom interesu autora, recenzenata i redakcije. S tim u vezi, pozivamo sve autore da razmotre mogućnost pisanja i objavljivanja članaka na engleskom jeziku, jer to povećava vidljivost i citiranost radova, i međunarodnu razmenu ideja i znanja.
