Međunarodni bezbednosni režimi u sprečavanju širenja nuklearnog naoružanja i njihov globalni značaj

Sažetak

Uvod/cilj: U radu je predstavljen pregled međunarodnih režima i sporazuma koji imaju za cilj da zaustave širenje nuklearnog oružja. Prikazan je uticaj svakog režima na širenje nuklearnog oružja, kao i njegov značaj u zaustavljanju nuklearnih proba koje su predstavljale pretnju u smislu izazivanja globalne ekološke katastrofe. Mnogi od ovih režima danas više nisu na snazi, ali su tokom istorije imali svoju ulogu u ispunjavanju specifičnih potreba u zaustavljanju globalnog širenja nuklearnog oružja ili karakterističnog nuklearnog oružja određenog dometa.

Metode: Analizirani su međunarodni ugovori iz ove oblasti, kao i tekstovi iz oblasti nuklearne bezbednosti iz časopisa od međunarodnog značaja. 

Rezultati: Analiza nuklearnih bezbednosnih režima dala je rezultate koji govore o njihovoj snazi, odnosno slabostima. Značaj i slabosti režima prikazani su kroz analizu i nekoliko dijagrama koji pokazuju trend rasta, odnosno pada ukupnog broja nuklearnih bojevih glava tokom vremena. 

Zaključak: Rad ukazuje na istorijski značaj nuklearnih bezbednosnih režima, ali i na njihove slabosti, kako u ranijim vremenima, tako i danas. Jasno je da su ovi režimi zaustavili nuklearno naoružavanje, ali to nije vodilo ka njegovom potpunom ukidanju, što je krajnji cilj sporazuma.
